Our Community
We are a liturgical church with members from the Columbus and surrounding communities.
The Mission of Zion is to teach and equip people through Word and Sacrament, to grow and mature as Christ's disciples, enabling believers to share the Gospel of Christ with our community.
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is located in downtown Columbus at the corner of South High Street and Columbus Street on the boarder of German Village. Our first church service was held on June 25, 1882.
Zion is a liturgical church and a member of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
