In 2019 Zion applied for a Vicar and Andrew Twietmeyer was placed at our church.  Andrew began his vicarage duties on July 21, 2019.


Andrew is married to Elizabeth and has two children, Jane and Eve.

Andrew was ordained and installed at Messiah Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids Michigan and is Messiah's sixth pastor. 


In 2020 Zion again applied for a Vicar and Austin Meier was placed at our church.  Austin is from Grafton WI where he met and married Elizabeth (Beth). Austin completed a Business degree at Concordia Wisconsin and in 2017 started his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne. Austin and Beth have two children.


Austin completed his vicarage and returned to Concordia for his last year of studies.



In 2021 Zion again applied for a vicar and Peter Wagner was placed at our church. Both Peter and his wife Rebecca attended the University of Minnesota where they were active in LCMS campus ministry. Peter has an undergraduate degree in physics and previously worked as an engineer prior to attending Concordia Fort Wayne.


Rebecca is from Iowa and studied liguistics and Mandarin Chinese. Peter and Rebecca were married in 2017  and have two children, Annika and James.

Wednesday Night Service/Bible Study

The First Wednesday (November 2), the Service, beginning at 7:00 PM, will be Divine Service Setting Three with Holy Communion. On Wednesdays (Nov. 9th &16th), the Service will be Compline, and will begin at 7:00 PM; there will be a Bible Study following the Services in the Family Room.

Private Confession and Absolution will be available from 6:15-6:45 PM, in Pastor Hromowyk’s Office. On Wednesdays (Nov. 23 & 30) Thanksgiving Eve and Advent 1, there will be an 11:00 AM Matins service and a 6:00 PM Soup Supper followed by a 7:00 PM Evening Prayer Service.
